My timeless series of woven pearl bracelets continues with the series Ariadne’s Thread, so named for the Greek mythological weaver. Made with pure silver and naturally colored, peach, freshwater pearls.

  1. Hi Cynthia,
    Henrietta might just work. It does sort of fit her. Doesn’t have to begin with H but could. The H in the illumination is for the first word in the story that includes these characters. Olivier is so named for the frog we hear but never get to see around our fish pond. Aurelia is a play on words for gold. There is a bird feeder right outside the window in front of my bench, and the goldfinches literally tap their beaks on the glass at me when the feeder gets empty.
    I met a giraffe named Henrietta a couple of times at San Diego Zoo. She was so delightful that I painted her. Unlike reality, her portrait is less than 6” tall. Her spots, however, took weeks.
