Granulation on hollow structures is a physics defying feat! Bending and fusing tubing can be intimidating. Delve into Victoria’s pioneering method for achieving the impossible as she breaks down her process into actionable and repeatable steps.
You’ll be able to create bold, beautiful straight and curved tubular beads of your own designs with little clean up. These beads look stunning as earrings, a single pendent, in sets of 3 or more on a necklace or bracelet
This course is only for students who have previously studied sterling granulation with Victoria through her Granulation Rings workshop (in person or online) or her craftsy.com “Granulation Demystified” course and be comfortable fusing conventional sterling sheet, wire, and granules. Please note: We will be working in conventional sterling silver (not fine silver or Argentium). Victoria’s method of fusing on tubing has not been tested in Argentium.
Expertly detailed, high resolution demos will include spiral and triad patterns, free form and contemporary patterns, curving tubing for large beads, and end caps. Expect to create at least 3, fused, sterling beads
