Commissioned a One-of-a-Kind Work

I create commissions pieces of all sizes within my style and techniques and with a minimum starting budget of $4000. The total cost depends on the scope of the project, the time required to create it, and the materials.

It helps to know as much as possible about what you’re looking for. Letting me know any or all of the following really helps get the ball rolling: which of my pieces spoke to you, the type of work desired (necklace, room divider, painting, calligraphy, tattoo design, etc.), size or size limitations, type of metal, stones, or materials, when you need it, the occasion (if for a special occasion), and your budget.

Commissioned artwork is a unique collaboration between the collector and me. Utilizing my masterful skill set and my unique style while working to fulfill other people’s dreams often leads to creating amazing art that is beyond what anyone might expect.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for someone to custom make another artist’s designs, Frodo’s ring, or that cool Ankh dagger from the David Bowie movie The Hunger, I’m not your artist. Thanks for understanding!

To initiate your commission, contact the studio via the website or by email (victoria@victorialansford.com) to express your interest in commissioning a work.

Once the specifics are discussed, I will create a detailed, hand drawn rendering of the deign, an estimated cost, and a timeframe for completion. There is a non refundable $200 design fee to begin this step. The fee includes one minor adjustment to the design if needed.

Upon approving the design and price, a 50% deposit is required to begin work. The remaining 50%, shipping charges, and any applicable sales tax due upon completion. Major credit cards and Paypal accepted. Completion time depends on the scope of the project.
