1-to-1 Soldering and Bench Support Coaching

Want Victoria to magically appear at your bench to help you with soldering, fusing, or other metal technical issues? If you’ve got a device with a camera and an internet connection, we can make this happen.

Session are 45 minutes, sold individually. Upon registration, you’ll receive information about scheduling, based on your time zone and availability.

Time to get some help!

We’ll arrange a 45 minute block of time when we’re both at our benches, and it will almost be like in person workshops with me guiding your torch hand and helping you “play chicken” with your metal, giving you design or technical feedback, and helping you level up. You can send images of in progress work and questions about what you need help with before the session so everything is tailored to your exact technical or artistic needs. Follow up help and feedback on your progress is included in the form of 2-3 emails.

Who’s It For?

This 1-to-1 time is for students who know how to solder (braze) with a torch and are looking for some in depth guidance on technical or design issues relating to techniques you have learned from Victoria’s videos, online classes, or in-person workshops. You don’t need to be an advanced jeweler or metalsmith, but if you have never soldered with a torch before, this coaching time won’t be much help.
